Book on WhatsAppThe treatment process
- Consultation and skin assessment to determine the appropriate HIFU depth and protocol for your concern
- Thorough cleansing to remove all makeup, oils, and surface residue from the treatment area
- Application of ultrasound gel to ensure optimal energy contact with the skin surface
- Targeted delivery of focused ultrasound energy across the face, neck, or under-chin — transducer moved methodically across the treatment zone
- Multi-depth treatment: superficial dermis, deep dermis, and SMAS layers addressed in sequence
- Post-treatment soothing application and SPF — session complete; no dressing or recovery period required

- Mild warmth or tingling during the ultrasound delivery — this is normal and indicates the energy reaching the deeper layers
- Occasional brief discomfort in bony areas such as the jawline; your doctor can adjust the protocol if needed
- Slight redness or mild puffiness immediately after treatment, typically resolving within a few hours
- Skin may feel slightly tender to touch for 24 hours — no cause for concern
- Early tightening can be perceived within days; full collagen remodelling results develop over 2–3 months
Treatable areas
Combination face + neck protocols are available. During consultation, the clinical team will advise on the optimal zone coverage for your anatomy and goals.
Your complete care guide
- Arrive with a clean face — remove all makeup before the appointment
- Avoid retinoids, AHAs, and BHAs for 3 days prior to your session
- Inform the clinical team of any recent injectables, peels, or laser treatments in the treatment area
- Stay well-hydrated in the days leading up to treatment — hydrated skin transmits ultrasound energy more effectively
- Discuss any metal dental implants or fillers with your doctor at consultation
- Apply broad-spectrum SPF 50 daily — newly stimulated skin is more sensitive to UV
- Avoid direct heat exposure (steam rooms, saunas) for 48 hours
- Gentle cleansing only for the first 24 hours; hold off on active skincare ingredients
- Makeup can be applied the same day if desired
- Avoid vigorous facial massage for 5 days post-treatment
- HIFU is not performed during pregnancy or while breastfeeding
- Active skin infections, open wounds, or inflammatory acne in the treatment area require deferral
- Patients with metal implants (plates, rods) in the treatment path should advise the clinical team before booking
- Severe skin laxity may be better addressed with a surgical consultation — your doctor will advise honestly
- Autoimmune or connective-tissue conditions require clinical judgement prior to treatment
